On the Blog This Week

Friday - On Friday morning I'm sharing the first in a series of my love for mint.com. On Friday I will be discussing how we've budgeted thus far, the motivation for moving to an online software budget system and why we didn't go with 'Every Dollar'. Note that this post is NOT sponsored (nor are subsequent posts about mint.com) I just want to share this amazing software and how its changed the way we budget. If you're curious to see how I used to budget check out this post! This is still an awesome way to track your finances, especially if you're getting out of debt!
Thing's I'm Loving!
Video: I'm a little bit obsessed with the youtube channel of 'Favorite Daughter Emily'. One of the reasons I chose to go with the Erin Condren life planner was because of her "Plan with me!" videos that she shares weekly. if you're at all interested in this planner or are just curious to see how someone organizes their life, I highly recommend Emily.
TV Show: We are massive fans of the tv show "Bob's Burgers" and we are beyond excited to tune in to the start of a new season! The first episode of season 8 aired last night and will be available on Hulu I believe this evening or tomorrow. I've read some amazing reviews and am beyond pumped to see the fan animation!
Book: "Murder, She Wrote: Jessica and the Ghost" - Super excited to start this book! It's one of my books I'll be reading for my "20 books before December 20th" reading challenge!
Free Printable: The wonderful Juju from jujusprinkles.com is sharing free schedule stickers! You can use them in your planner, wall calendar or just anywhere you want a bit of loveliness =)

Our Weekend in Pictures!
Our family took a trip out to San Francisco this past weekend and visited the San Francisco Aquarium by the bay. Discovered Amelia dislikes elevators and enclosed spaces lol! BUT we saw some pretty amazing otters.
We had a great time walking around the pier and checking out all the attractions!
One of the best parts of living close to San Francisco is the drive over the bridge on a beautiful clear day!
We (finally!) were able to celebrate my best friend Caitlyn's birthday over the weekend! Beautiful day with wonderful weather and amazing steak =)
I can't take credit for creating this cake! But huge thanks to Nugget Markets for developing such a rich delicious treat!
