Self Care: Take what you need
Self care isn’t about constantly getting manicures, massages and facials (although for some, maybe it is!). For me, self care looks like ensuring I’m eating whole foods, declining that second glass of wine, going to bed at a good time and drinking water. As a busy homemaker and mom, those seemingly small things that I choose to do or not do can help me thrive or cause a crash in their absence.

Note: yes, budgeting is 100% self care in my opinion! Seeing where we stand with our finances and feeling secure is a big help to my mental state.
